The CDF Support subgroup of the EED Colliding Beams Experiments group provides electronics infrastructure support and ongoing electronics development effort for the CDF experiment.

We maintain, replace and service the majority of the subracks, fanpacks, backplanes and low-voltage electronics power supplies used in the experiment.

We maintain a database of electronics installed in the experiment.

We troubleshoot problems associated with DAQ infrastructure modules in the front end crates as well as the infrastructure cables linking the crates together.

We provide support for the safety systems that monitor the following gases:

Hydrogen chloride

Carbon monoxide

Oxygen

Flammable gases
