Recent developments in cosmology bring to the
forefront fundamental questions about our ability to falsify various
fundamental assumptions about the universe. I will discuss three issues
that reflect different aspects of these questions: (1)
"Proving" Inflation (2) Anthropic "Explanations" (3)
Cosmology of the far future.
