CDF XFT STEREO MODULE
PCB Production and Assembly
Information
A total
of 45 Production modules are to be produced.
The following is the schedule for release and expected delivery for
Stereo XFT Modules. It is arranged by
line in the requisition.
1. PCB Fabrication:
1)
After the
Engineering Hold is released, we require the delivery of 45 boards. There will be a possible ECO on this final
version of the board. Vendors should
quote for possibility of ECO as well as quantities of 45 boards.
2. PCB Assembly:
Fermilab will supply
all components required to assemble the modules. Parts will be shipped to vendor upon the
award of contract. Correct
placement/soldering of all BGA devices should be verified with x-ray
inspection. There exists a strong
preference for automatic optical inspection of all other components.
